Enanta Pharmaceuticals Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

WATERTOWN, Mass., November 6, 2012 — Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a research and development-focused biotechnology company dedicated to creating small molecule drugs in the infectious disease field, announced that it has publicly filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Enanta previously submitted its registration statement to the SEC on a confidential basis under the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act of 2012. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will act as joint book-running managers for the offering. Leerink Swann LLC and JMP Securities LLC will act as co-managers.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective.
